Markus Wagner

Markus Wagner is the Founder and Managing Partner of i5invest, a technology incubator and corporate finance advisory firm based in Vienna, Austria. Prior to establishing i5invest in 2007, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of 123people, a digital search platform that he scaled and sold to the French directory publisher Solocal Group in 2010. Wagner also co-founded the video portal 3min, which was subsequently acquired by the telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom. Throughout his career as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, he has directly facilitated more than one hundred corporate development transactions, seed investments, and acquisitions across the broader European and North American technology ecosystems. His current professional focus centers on providing strategic growth advisory, securing institutional venture capital funding, and executing complex cross-border exit strategies for early-stage software and digital media enterprises.
