Mark Gorenberg is the Founder and Managing Director of Zetta Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm focused exclusively on artificial intelligence for the enterprise. Before entering venture capital, he worked as a software executive and entrepreneur, notably serving as a member of the original SparcStation team at Sun Microsystems. Over his three-decade investing career, he has backed numerous successful enterprise software companies, including Domo, Omniture, and Teem, which was later acquired by WeWork. In 2011, President Barack Obama appointed him to a 21-person advisory group on the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He holds engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University, and currently serves as the Chair of the MIT Corporation. His ongoing work centers on guiding institutional technology policy and financing early-stage enterprise AI startups.
