Mark Ghermezian

Mark Ghermezian is an independent investor and startup advisor currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He draws upon his operational background with his family's retail and real estate conglomerate, Triple Five Group, which develops and operates major commercial properties including the Mall of America. Previously, Ghermezian served as a Managing Partner at Forerunner Ventures, where he directed capital toward emerging consumer technology and e-commerce enterprises. As an active angel investor, he has built a personal portfolio of over 20 early-stage startups, participating in early funding rounds for prominent consumer brands such as Warby Parker. In early 2025, he expanded his professional activities by joining an emerging consumer artificial intelligence startup as a strategic advisor.
