Marco DeMeireles is the Co-founder and General Partner of Ansa Capital, a venture capital firm based in New York City. Before launching Ansa Capital, he served as a Partner at The Chernin Group (TCG), where he directed venture and growth equity investments and helped raise a $710 million standalone fund. His earlier career includes establishing the private investment practice at Balyasny Asset Management and executing growth-stage transactions at Technology Crossover Ventures and Morgan Stanley. DeMeireles has led notable investments in major consumer technology companies, including backing Coinbase in 2017 and supporting Peloton through its 2019 initial public offering. The Williams College graduate and Kauffman Fellow also holds board director positions at startups such as Better Place Forests and ShopShops. His current investment focus centers on data-driven consumer products, prosumer software, and financial technology platforms.
