Jordan Dearsley

Jordan Dearsley is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vapi, a voice AI infrastructure platform based in San Francisco, California. Before launching his current venture, he studied software engineering at the University of Waterloo and co-founded PlayAI, alongside establishing Confident AI, an open-source evaluation platform for large language model applications. Under his leadership, Vapi participated in the accelerator program at Y Combinator in early 2024 and subsequently secured a $20 million Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Dearsley has scaled the platform to support over 10,000 developers, driving $2 million in annual recurring revenue growth and acquiring Confident AI in March 2024 to expand its evaluation capabilities. His current focus centers on advancing conversational AI infrastructure and providing developers with the tools necessary to build, test, and deploy custom voice agents.
