JEFFREY WANG

Jeffrey Wang is the Co-founder of Exa, an artificial intelligence search engine company based in San Francisco, California. He previously spent three years building data and web infrastructure at the financial technology firm Plaid from 2019 to 2022. Prior to his corporate career, Wang studied at Harvard University from 2015 to 2019, where he managed a GPU cluster and earned degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy. He established Exa in 2021 alongside his former college roommate Will Bryk, developing an infrastructure platform that currently indexes tens of billions of web pages. The startup has secured financial backing from Lightspeed Venture Partners and provides search capabilities to enterprise customers including Databricks, Lovable, and Cursor.
