JEFF WEINER

Jeff Weiner is the Executive Chairman of LinkedIn and Founding Partner at Next Play Ventures, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2020, he expanded the professional networking platform from 33 million to nearly 700 million global members while increasing annual revenue to over $4 billion. He subsequently orchestrated the enterprise's $26.2 billion acquisition by Microsoft in June 2016 before eventually transitioning to his current board position. Prior to joining LinkedIn, he served as Executive Vice President of Yahoo!'s Network Division and worked as an Executive in Residence at the venture capital firm Greylock Partners. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, he currently focuses his professional efforts on venture capital investments and advising early-stage founders.
