Jan Oberhauser

Jan Oberhauser is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of n8n, a source-available workflow automation platform based in Berlin, Germany. Before launching the company, he worked as a freelance software engineer and served as a technical director in the visual effects industry after earning a degree in Media Technology and Design from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Under his leadership, n8n has accumulated more than 40,000 GitHub stars, generated millions of downloads, and secured over $45 million in total venture funding. Oberhauser directed the firm's capital acquisition strategy, including a $12 million Series A round led by Sequoia Capital in 2021 and a subsequent $33.5 million Series B financing led by Felicis Ventures in 2022. His current focus centers on scaling fair-code developer tools and expanding API integration capabilities for global enterprise users.
