Daniel Farina is a Co-Founder of Ubicloud, an open-source cloud infrastructure platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Prior to establishing the company in 2023, he specialized in developing managed PostgreSQL services and database control planes as an early software engineer at Heroku and Crunchy Data. Farina also engineered core cloud services at Citus Data, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2019, leading to his subsequent work on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
