Connor Zwick is the co-founder and CEO of Speak, an AI-powered language learning platform based in San Francisco, California. He began his entrepreneurial career while studying at Harvard University, where he developed the top-grossing iOS education application known as Flashcards+. After leaving the university to accept a prestigious Thiel Fellowship, Zwick sold the application to Chegg in 2013 and subsequently worked there as a software engineer. He established Speak in 2016, scaling the consumer technology business to secure over $80 million in total venture funding. This capital includes a $27 million Series B round led by the OpenAI Startup Fund in 2022 and a $16 million Series B-2 led by Lachy Groom in 2023. Zwick currently focuses on leveraging advanced artificial intelligence and speech models to expand consumer educational technology products across new international markets.
