Austin Ogilvie

Austin Ogilvie is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Thoropass, a business-to-business compliance software platform based in New York City, New York. Under his leadership, the company has secured $98 million in total venture funding, including a $50 million Series C round, to automate information security frameworks like SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 27001. Previously, he co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Yhat, a Y Combinator-backed machine learning deployment startup that was acquired by Alteryx in 2017. Earlier in his professional career, he developed software and data products at the fintech startup OnDeck Capital and earned a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. Ogilvie currently focuses on scaling enterprise compliance infrastructure while actively angel investing across the deep tech, urban mobility, fintech, digital health, and developer tools sectors.
