Arun Mathew

Arun Mathew is a Partner at Accel based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Before joining the venture firm in 2009, he worked at Insight Venture Partners and earned dual degrees in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been recognized multiple times on the Forbes Midas List of top technology investors, ranking at number 76 in 2021 and appearing again in 2022. During his tenure at Accel, he has directed investments and supported the growth of prominent enterprise software and technology companies, including Qualtrics, Tenable, and Squarespace. Notably, he led the firm's initial investment in Squarespace, which subsequently went public through a direct listing in May 2021. His current investment focus centers on backing early and growth-stage businesses operating within the enterprise software, cybersecurity, and data infrastructure sectors.
