Zal Bilimoria

Zal Bilimoria is the Founder and Managing Partner of Refactor Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to launching the firm in 2016, which has since raised over $130 million across multiple funds, he served as a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. During his tenure there, he evaluated consumer and mobile startups while advising portfolio companies on product strategy and growth metrics. Before transitioning into venture capital, Bilimoria built a decade-long career in product management, holding senior operational roles at major technology corporations including Google, Netflix, and LinkedIn. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His current investment strategy focuses on providing seed capital to technical founders building disruptive companies in fundamental sectors like healthcare, applied biology, and hard technology.
